A new photographic project - The fun begins.

This weekend I had the pleasure of shooting James Grim from Brothers Grim & the Blue Murders for my next project, which is set in the early 70s.

Like my previous project Notorious Dames, there will be cars, women, weapons and the beautiful Australian landscape. Unlike Notorious Dames, which was set in the 30s/40s and showcased hot rods of the era – the new project (title unknown as yet) will showcase muscle cars of the 60s and 70s.

As I have been busy of late, photographing and editing images for the Devil Doll Clothing calendar (launching November 14th) – I have had to put my project on hold. So to have the first shoot done and dusted over the weekend makes me very happy indeed!

What makes me even happier, is the subject matter of the weekend. A beautiful day with blue skies and few clouds, a bright yellow XA ute and a crazed man named James Grim. He certainly gave us more entertainment than we bargained for. Thank goodness the video camera was rolling… the behind the scenes footage will be uploaded soon so you can see exactly what I’m banging on about!

But for now, a sneak peek image of James, being very responsible – watching where he’s going while he’s shooting.

Should be fun! Looking forward to it. Have you seen Not Quite Hollywood and any of the Ozploitation movies it features?

I did make a list of everything when I first saw it: http://ozfilms.timchuma.com/nqh_film_availability.htm
