Notorious Dames
Notorious Dames is a collection of photographic art based on 1930s/40s Film Noir. Showcasing dead-sexy femme fatales, weapons of the era, beefed-up hot rods and Australian landscapes and architecture.
Inspired by Sin City, Helen McLean has photographed her models in the studio, while the vehicles and landscapes were shot separately and put together in post-production.
Notorious Dames has been cast with some of the baddest people this town has yet to see, with Samantha Doll, Himstress, Rosy Rabbit, Sally Arnott, Devil Doll, Miss B and the man with an axe, Johnny Wishbone.
There’s something in this for everyone.
