Framing options for your prints.

There are too many options, in my opinion, on how to mount/frame your prints! As the creator of the Notorious Dames collection, I can at least help you to narrow those options down.

Framing.

A simple black frame will work well with the Notorious Damnes prints. You can frame a few ways:

  1. Leave the 1 inch white border;
  2. Leave the 1 inch white border and add an additional black matt;
  3. Create a wider white border by using a white matt; or
  4. Trim the white border – which would then make the print size 26.7 W x 17.8 H inches or 68 W x 45.4 H cms.

2. The Picture Box

Online framer – I have used them quite a bit and been happy each time.

Whichever way you go – be sure to get it framed with a spacer, so the glass doesn’t sit directly on the gloss print.

Mounting.

The other option is to mount the print – and the only option here should be Dibond (an Aluminium Composite Material). Request a hanging bracket attached to the back to off-set the print off the wall, so it appears to float.

1. Colour Factory
409 – 429 Gore Street,
Fitzroy VICTORIA
Ph: 03 9419 8756

Size of print.

The size of the print (inlcuding the 1 inch white border) is 29 W x 20 H inches or 73.66 W x 50.8 H cms.

Hope this helps and good luck!
